Indiana Chip and Detective Teddy: Chapter Fourteen

\Chapter 14\ Snaky

Ted stood back as the snake came out and Ted said "Get away from my toilet, use your own," "Its O,K." said the snake, "Im friendly. " "Oh" Said Ted, "Whats your name. "My names Snaky," said Snaky. "I used to belong to the T-Rex," "Oh" said Ted.
As they all sat down for breakfast Snaky said "I will have to go after this," Ted said "Oh, what a pity," "well I better get the dishes washed." "Right" said Snake and slithered off.
Suddenly Chip was at the door, "What was that all about," Ted said "Nothing. hey, do you want breakfast while your here." "No thanks said Chip "I want to tell you something, as I was coming here I saw some marks going to a A cliff, since your a detective, I thought you might know what tracks they are." "Oh no" said Ted, "What," said Chip "They might be marks leading off the CLIFF!" said Ted.

END CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Notes: I stress I'm keeping the original spelling and grammar.

Ten year-old me probably thought he was doing Ted a service with this, showing Chip needing Ted's help despite displaying pretty poor detective skills in Chapter Three. Twenty-eight year-old me is more inclined to believe Chip is just taking the piss.

Snaky was a yellow plastic snake toy. Like many other characters, he is no longer with us, but here's a similar-looking version:

    1. At how you were reading such wonderful literature, and you would never read anything more amazing?

Looking at the original page, I'm pretty sure it was only split into two paragraphs, not the three you see above. I decided to give myself the benefit of the doubt and create a new paragraph [As they sat down...] without the indent. I could barely take it, myself :p

  2. It really is wonderful, it made me laugh probably more than was healthy.
