Chip and Ted ran as fast as they could to the cliff and as soon as they got there Ted could see that the marks were heading to the cliff.
"We have to do something," said Ted. "I know," said Chip, and he found himself doing something, he was flying round the cliff searching for the creature. When he found it, he saw it was a fox. He zoomed towards it.
"Hello," said Chip "H-H-Hi," said the Fox, Chip could see it was a baby fox and that it was scared. "I'm here to rescue you." "Goody," said the fox, "someone to rescue me." and with that he started flying up. Chip almost fainted. He went up to the top of the cliff and said to the fox and Ted, we better go to my home."

Notes: Full-on Sonic the Hedgehog rip-off here, with a mirror of the character 'Tails'. He (and Simba) fly the same way as Tails does in the series, by spinning their tails very fast. I don't think ten year-old me quite grasped the whole reason Tails could do this was because he had two tails.
